Retro for Sears

Ok, I've ordered the retro fence now advice on another improvement. Read in another post about the ribbed belt as a part order. Will it fit the shaft on the motor and table of a 79/80 Sears? What about the Sears BS? I must get rid of the original belts to decrease the vibration. smile.gif

The poly-v belt and pulleys will fit your machine with no modification, just visit www.ridgidparts.com (http://www.ridgidparts.com) for part numbers and prices. There are two different pulley types available, the TS2424 has machined steel pulleys while the TS2412 has die-cast aluminum pulleys with a machined belt surface. Either pulley type will work.

As far as the band saw goes the only recommendation I can make is to use the link-belt system on the unit. We do not have a poly-v system that will fit on that saw.
