:dance:Just bought this mitre saw and when i move the bevel to 45 degrees the motor hits the fence.I'm not a framer so is there something i'm doing wrong with this saw...i wouldn't think this would be designed that i'd have to remove the fence to get this angle.

do you have the top sliding fence slid all the way to the side? you will have to slide that out to tilt it

the slide is all the way out on the right side.I sent a email to Rigid and the responded telling me i have to flip the wood and use the left side for my 45%cuts!!:rotflmao1:
