Hi,
We bought 2 100A Siemens G2020B1100CU's for works in progress.
Can we use one of the 100A main panels for a sub panel?
Do we simply remove the 100A main breakers in the sub panel and replace with 60's.
Can we go with lugs only?
The panels main to sub are 12 meters apart.
Thanks,
Chenchen.

As long as you have a 60 amp breaker in the main panel it doesn't matter what size main breaker is in the sub panel. You don't even need a disconnect at the sub panel. You could go main lug if you wanted to.

The Ontario code requires a switch on the sub panel, at least when installed in a garage. Check your local code.
