The 9944 MSUV is a pretty neat MS stand. Anyone use their stand for doing other things than just holding a miter saw? I've thought about getting an extra pair of the clamping brackets and bolting a piece of plywood to them to make a portable work station. Any other ideas?

(Speaking of the brackets, does anyone know what they cost?)

I haven't got my bill yet but I think that the brackets were about $22/each and then shipping put the total at approx. $52. That should be close.

I've also been thinking of getting another set of brackets and mounting my lunchbox planner on it. Don't know if the MSUV would provide enough support for the infeed and out feed tables or not. Probably would have to put some wood shims under them to level it all out. Might take my SCMS off and give it a try before I order.

I purchased mine to use with my portable planer.
