Last Nights Downtime

The server that the forum is hosted on had hardware problems last night. Thank you to those of you who called to let me know the site was down. some activity from yesterday was lost because they had to do a complete restore of the previous nights backup. They were very appologetic... a great host overall though... things like this just happen.

Sorry again for the flakey performance on the site yesterday. We are back in the pink again.

the forum has saved me thousands over 4 years:confused:

don't need cable t.v. when you have all the entertainment from the forum.

one day i'm going to surprise joey and wire up the 42'' wall mount to the forum.

but we'll fight about whose keyboard is the live one:rolleyes:

As of 5:10 AM Eastern on 05/25/2008 the forum is running but very slow. My thinking is that overnight the I T team is working on the site and hosting servers.

Rick actually thought the forum was slow last night as well, but then it picked up.

There may be a few more wrinkles to iron out.

I think theres a ghost in the system and its messing with us. Maybe we should do an exorcist to rid of this demon.... :jumping: :D :D

Since the hardware failure on friday they backup cycle had to run off schedule so it slowed it down a bit. Hang with us here. Should get back to normal.
