As a side note, I 0'ed out my counter on the customers copy,t his was done for me, so it is sloppy, but it is good stuff for the web site. this is why the camera reads 7' out of the cleanout. ;)
The customer was furnished 2 parts to the dvd, the crushed video, and then a second part, the repair and an inspection to the city main. the youtube video quality sucks!! this looks much better on my computer, before it is downloaded.

robert, from what i see the bad crush was at the 34' mark and the original cast was at the 31' mark. that makes for a 3' spread.
why did they not dig up the last 3' to eliminate the 90 turn?
i really hope that the pulling machine was staged at this side. otherwise all the pipe would be ruined.
looks like very poor planning on the installers part.
next time they should have joey there to set them straight:confused:
right adam:D
what was the total pull footage once you finished the repair?

Why would the pipe be ruined? Could you bring some job pics of pulling the pipe? I don't know a thing about this. I'll bring my notepad and take plenty of notes.

because you would be crushing the pipe all the way through that bend, the whole lenght of the pull, and ruining the pipe.
when I ran my camera, to inspect the line, that was the only issue, which was the issue I repaired.
it was about 27' from the c/o, there was as you can see, a large section of cast left, not sure why they did what they did, but of course there would have been a better way.
