I am in the process of setting up the 3650 and it says to degrease the table and then apply a coat of paste wax. I got some Minwax Paste Finishing Wax, is that the paste wax they are talking about? The reason I ask is because it only mentions wood finishing on the label.

Any paste wax that does not contain silicone is fine. I always hear Johnson paste wax. IT's a furniture wax. I believe that Miniwax is the same category of wax.

I used auto wax paste myself. Some for the saw, some for the car.

Use the Minwax, works great. Read the rest of Dave's Dirty Dozen (http://www.woodworkersweb.com/kb.php?mode=article&k=10) and do it.
Some of the auto pastes contain silicone, which transfers to and ruins good wood.

I use beeswax and it works great. I wax all my jigs for my saws as well. If you would blow on them they would slide across the saw.
