Newsweek july 08 Lets shoot the speculators Ain't them Ahuge global boom since 2008 led by China,India,and other developing countries, has boosted raw material prices.
Between 2002 and 2008 some price jumps Copper 360% Nickel 452% oil 177% steel 117%
Just ordered 1 ton of steel for a welding project fri $1900 + tax. I will mark this up 20% tool

Tried to order steel and mj soil pipe and it was hard to come by due to the plants in Bejing shutting down/ slowing down to try to reduce emissions for the Olympics.... crappy deal
