Going to do a replacement on this one next week, anyone ever work on one?

What is that thing? I hate to look stupid but I have no experience with boilers and such. What is the abs pipe running underneath the unit. You are replacing the whole thing right?

Yes, full replacement. The ABS is the exhaust vent. This heats water, then stores it in a 300 gallon storage tank.

Here is the install. Anyway the owner is thrilled. The new one runs seldom, the water is hotter, and he expects to collect the savings in gas and electric in a year.
