does ridgid make a cable head/leader that will allow me to go from the
vent of a curb trap (8' deep) back into the house
i tried putting a bend on a straight auger, still cant get it to go back

They make a trap leader for the 7/8" cable (T-127 about $30)

Have you tried using that with the bent auger? It's pretty bendy

Try a piece of 1-1/2" PVC with a 45 on the end might help guide it

Going to be hard to do at that depth

Try using the 4 bladed cutter T-112 and running the machine in reverse.
