36" rip extension

Hello, I have the 2412 table saw. I does not have the cast iron top. Can I add the 36" rip extension to this saw. If I can does it require taking off the old rails and putting on new ones. If this is seen by a Ridgid rep, could you please tell me the cost (in Canadian dollars). I have not seen this accessory here in Winnipeg, yet.
