Customer was very proud of his work and wanted to show me he was also a plumber " he needed me for my equipment not my skill"....
All I could do was laugh...With tears running down my face he asked me to leave....

What did he call you out for?
I want all the juicy details of both sides of the conversation.
Anyway, glad you stood your ground...:bravo:

Did he use CPVC glue? Looks like DWV glue in the pic?

The sad part is that the guy probably felt like he accomplished something. Look honey, water runs, who needs a plumber? I hear that all the time.

Just think, soon that DIY contraption is going to be concealed in the wall. Out of sight, out of mind, until....???

Looks like he is equally as good a plumber as he is a carpenter, drywaller and electrician. Hate to be the guy that moves in after he is done renovating
Thank you home depot:rolleyes:

That's exactly what I was talking about. The guy probably owns the house and thinks he can do whatever he wants and bury that crap in the wall for the next guy.

TMI-after seeing the hair (or lack of) on your head, I don't want to know where your shampoo horns were.

Garden hose woulda been better.
How many hose clamps do you need (by code) on 5/8" garden hose?
If I go this route I want to do it right. :)

Yeah, good job on the sheet rock too.
Quality all the way.
Maybe Josh could move this to the joke forum, it kinda belongs there.

how is he going to get to the 2 water valves after the wall is up
how long is the tub spout going to last with the plastic fitting

Isn't that a power wire on the right side? needs at least one staple in the run that we can see.
How about the frame member (stud) that appears to have been hacked out to install the cross members (maybe not a supporting wall but with this guy who knows)

From the picture it looks as there is no air gap.

Actually, cement board...at least in the area where the shower will hit the wall.
