Get a picture off your hard drive and on to a post?

click Post Reply not quick reply

click on the arrow next to the paper clip (attachments)at the top of the box

new box will open...then browse for your pic

click upload

then click paperclip again to insert pic

I don't know about cracks method, because I haven't posted a pic on this forum. But on every other forum I know about, you can't just lift a pic out of the folder on your computer. The picture has to exist as a URL. The easiest way to do this is to open a free www.photobucket.com (http://www.photobucket.com) account, upload the photo to your album, and then a oneclicker will give you the url to paste into your post.

If the pic is small, you can use the [img] feature to put the pic right in the post. If it is too big, this will be ugly, so just use the url link. Photobucket has an edit feature which lets you resize the pic to BBS suitable pixel count.
