k-60 works labor day

the mighty k-60 didn't take this labor day off:eek:

although i wanted the day off, my customers couldn't wait till tuesday.

it all started friday night 10 minutes after getting home from adams surprise birthday party. the phone rings at 10:10 pm. the customer was having a get together. i tried to put her off till morning but she needed me there now.

k-60 got it done and home in under an hour door to door;)

sunday was at a friends block party and had 2 emergency calls that i tried to put off till tuesday.

both wanted it done today/ labor day.

got them done and home in under 1.5 hours.

i didn't have the heart to charge the going triple time, but double time was fair for us all;)

so you see, the k-60 is always ready for work, she never knows when to say no. she's not the impressionator for nothing:D

Before anyone takes a shot at me for turning down family, there's history to my reasoning.


When I replaced their water heater, I didn't get paid for my labor,

took 6 months to get the money for the materials

and my home cooked meal


was a half-cooked hotdog

with expiring halloween candy.


Everything else including video games, cartons of cigarettes and wide screen tv's are more important than paying your brother for his hard earned valuable time.

Told them Home Depot has the equipment they need, and cheap!@ :lovies:

Hey Rick the 7500 had 16 calls today 12 yeasterday and I didn`t do one of em :D I painted my shop all weekend :D
So far I have 12 for the morning, come on down and take a few of em for me ;) I`m sure I`ll have a bunch before noon come in ;)

My K-60 got to rest yesterday, but today it's going out on the job. Looks like another floor/kitchen drain.
