Are Kobalt tools any good and is there a real lifetime warranty on them?

Why not just buy hand tools that have a good long track record?
Armstrong, Channellock, Klein, Martin, Proto, Ridgid (The real Ridgid that is) S-K, Williams, Wright and more.
Tools sold out of trucks are ripoffs if buying basic hand tools. MAC, MATCO, SNAP-ON and such
I wouldn't take the risk on Kobalt myself when I have many other good choices. They are intended as DIY tools and not for serious professional users.
