What is a good brand of water pump that can easily pump between 40 PSI and 60 PSI and not take all day doing it. I still want it too work on A 120V power supply. I just tried 2 both were purchased at Canadian Tire, both sucked: one would not pump at all (defective) and the other can not push past 53 PSI and required 10 min. just too get to the 53 PSI..
Thanks for the help

I would recommend a Flint and Walling if you have a distributor nearby.

Grundfos makes a real nice pump, so does Goulds.

You should really consider a higher voltage pump. 230 volt will get your pressure up faster. Most pumps I see here in Colorado are 230 volt and have no problems getting up to pressure in just a few minutes, depending on pressure tank size.

Flint & Walling is what I like and install. I know quite a few people that work there including my father in law. He has been there over thirty years building pumps and I know they take their job seriously.

Most pumps can be wired 240V
