When it comes time to lubricate the various components of my table saw(2424), I was wondering if something like super lube dri- film would be an appropriate lubricant.
the carrier seems to be hexane(hmmm...isn't that a carcinogen?). Anyway, it claims it leaves an inert polymer film that both lubricates and cleans. (web site is super-lube.com)
I realized the manual says to use motor oil but I don't want saw dust sticking to the threads.
what is your feeling on using this?
thanks

Any lube that prevents rust and help actuation should work fine. I'd just avoid really sticky stuff like bearing grease.
