threading brass pipe

Our specs call for special dies when threading brass pipe. Couldn't find any such listing in your on-line catalog. Are our specs wrong?

We do not have a specific pipe die for copper, however, we have recommended that the customer to try our dies for PVC. Our regular dies for pipe are made to be aggresive which on brass can tear the threads. The dies for PVC are not aggresive which will work much better. Also, when threading Brass pay attention to the feed rate, if the threading process seems to be going to slow, you may have to maintain pressure on the hand wheel.
