12" wide lumber

Can someone please tell me where I can find a decent supplier of 12" wide hardwood boards that they have personally used?...I am having a tough time finding a good supplier online....several advertise it but when a call is placed to order, I find out that they do not stock it....thanks in advance.....Murray
