The difference between the BS1400 0 and the BS1400 1 is a TEFC motor on the -1 model
The differences between the versions of the thickness planer are minimal. The -2 version includes a legset in the box.
We use the last number of the model number to track minor changes to the units. Usually its a parts changes and completely transparent to the end user. If inventory is correctly controlled the only unit available should be the latest dash number.
