The storm damage in Kentucky has caused the Governor to call up ALL the states National Guard and Air Guard...4600 total, to help deal with the storm recovery.

Yep still bad around here. Still thousands without electricity. Many can't drink the tap water because the water companies don't have the electricity to treat the water.

Stll 80k in the Louisville area without power. Hopefully on by end of week. Probably 200k state wide. Lucky that warm up thawed all the ice off the trees so no more breaking down now.

Hopefully they only have good news when going door to door. Reminds me of Katrina where the national guard went door to door breaking them open with rams to check for survivors. The elderly are most vulnerable. This is a time when people should be reaching out to their neighbors.

I sold two generators this week as a result of this bad storm.
One of them made it down to Louisville, told them to get an electrician and throw a pigtail on the furnace, gas furnace and set the generator up in the garage. This will allow them to run the furnace indefinitely and keep the house warm.
Since I know so many people, I might just get in the biz of having these much needed items like generators and the like.
