Just have a question for you guys. im thinking on buying the ridgid "scout" locator. I do not have a ridgid brand camera. How well does the scout locate using the remote transmitter that adaps to the 7/8" open wind cable? what are your thoughts on the "scout" itself?

You will be very happy with how it locates a 512hz sond. I used mine with a sond for a while and it was right on.

I don't own a SeeSnake yet, so I use the sonde that attaches to my cable. I have only used it a couple of times so far, and it has been dead on each time. You will be very happy with it.

Love it and it has been on the money everytime:)
Watch the DVD, go out and locate your homes sewer (That's what I did) and get after it...
I use the ridgid Sonde as well... The Ridgid Sonde cable adapters are also the caps for the Sonde's (it is hard to tell that in the pictures) FYI
