Yeah, they should let Big Business (BB) alone. They know best
how to get their wares to market and they are good corporate
citizens. They would not knowingly bite the hand that feeds
them.....right?







FDA: Plant knowingly sold salmonella-laced food

As far back as 2007, salmonella-laced products were shipped
by a Georgia peanut company that knew the peanuts probably
were tainted and sometimes after tests confirmed that
contamination, inspection records show. Federal law forbids
producing or shipping foods under conditions that could make it
harmful to consumers' health.

Well, in Communist China they would hang the CEO.

Yeah, that might be a little extreme, but they need independent oversight that is for sure. And maybe the Feds are not the ones to do it. The FDA does not have that great a record when it comes to protecting the public.

And company employee who it can be proved knowingly let contaminated product out the door should be taken to court and dealt with accordingly. Doesn't seem much different than product tampering to me.
