Ridgid 600 vs Ridgid 700 style

I understand the 600 uses 11R and the 700 uses 12 R

But what is the advantage of an ELECTRIC REVERSE (600) over the gear box style of the 700??

Not real sure what you are asking. The 700 has an electric switch. push one way for forward, let pressure off of switch and it springs back to "off", push the other way and it is reverse. By "gear box" it sounds as if you have to move a lever for it to change directions.
