That is a true hero, risked his life to save another. Amazing.
American media is so quick to pin the hero label on people.
Michael Phelps? Come on, he swims back and forth in a pool.
I'd even debate Sully the airline pilots hero pin. Great pilot at the top of his game, yes, absolutely. Hero? I don't know. He was in the plane too, he saved his own life. It's not like he ran into a burning building and pulled somebody out. Debatable.
But this firefighter ran into a building putting his own life at risk to save the life of another. That's heroic. And heartwarming.

I just turned on CNN to catch them milking a plane crash in New York, right now. Details coming in.
44 people on board.
No survivors, unfortunately.
