I installed a new Rigid sewage pump in a basin in the basement for an In-Law suite. It seems to get covered with a film of paper and such after about 3 months and continues to run or start and stop. I have to take the lid off the basin and clean it a bit to get it to run normally. What do I need to do to eliminate the film that causes it to contine to run after a few months after cleaning?
