nails for air nailers

can anyone tell me if anybody out there makes brass nails for an 18 ga nailer

My experience is rather minimal as I've only been using my finish nailer for a little over a year. However, I've never seen "brass" listed in any nailer supplies. I would think it would be too soft for such use. There are galvanized nails for outdoor use, and perhaps even a few other platings, but I've never seen brass.

I see steel, galvanized and stainless steel but no brass. I agree with CWSmith that brass would be too soft. You can get brass hand nails if your using them for decorative purposes. You would probably want to pre-drill especially if going into hardwood.
