Drill and battery

any time you put a working battery in to the drill, the drill starts to run and stops. When you put the battery in the charger it does not see the battery any longer. Any idears? :confused:

With the limited info you've shared, I'd just go out on a limb and say that either the battery is toast or the charger is done. Hard to be able to help you any without knowing just a little bit more about what brand, model, etc etc.

The drill is a Ridgid 18v x2. This has happend to 2 batteries now. The drill seems to kill the battery.

Do you have a VOM Multimeter there? If yes, please measure battery Voltage when this happens.
