Hot Water recirculating crossover

I have a recirculating pump on my hot water heater. Recently I have started experiancing hot water out of my cold water sides of faucetts.
Can anyone tell me how this is happening?

We need details but here goes. The pump is on backwards? Did you get a unit that uses the cold line as a return? Lots of things are possible.

If everything was working fine before, then it could be cross connecting at a fixture with a single handle faucet. Or a check valve was installed in the wrong place or backwards?
