Alright, quick and simple... I think.
I have heard of this, and read a successful post in the past, but have any of you out there put the Jet riser block on the Ridgid Bandsaw. (the Ridgid blocks are too hard to get a hold of, and Ridgid has supposively had a price hike to their blocks to $135 [ordertree quoted price]) If so, any issues. Heard they are identical in size & shape, except color... ...I hope~!!! Just wanted to get that comfort from someone else before tackling this issue.
I have the Jet block ready for assembly. I guess it wouldn't hurt to try. Just hoping for some testamony of goods or bads.
Also, with that said, what should I be aware of when installing the riser block, with alignments and tuning.

Thanks in advance tongue.gif

You will have to redrill and pin the Jet. There was a discussion a while back that the Grizzly block fit the Ridgid without alteration. I hate that green look, but paint is a small matter. You might give that avenue a look.

I saw that same post about the Grizzley Riser Block.
What do you mean redrill and pin??? If you don't mind me asking...

The blocks have pins in them that line up the saw base and head to the block. That way the block does not float. The pins on the jet do not line up with the holes in the Ridgid. To make it work you would have pull the pins and redrill the block with the proper pin pattern and put new pins in.

It is my understanding that Grizz pins line up on the Ridgid saw.
