Alright... Finally got another chance to shoot a short vid of another microDrain Application. This time I am pushing the microDrain through a 1 1/2" cast iron P trap. The trap was nice and rusty too.
I did put a hard 90 at the top to simulate a tub overflow and was able to get it through the trap and out of the pipe but it was much harder. The 90 I put on had threads on it as well so it was really tricky trying to push past the threads and still get good leverage. Either way I was able to get through an extra 90 on this setup as well but it wasnt as quick as what I did in the video.
Also... its important to note the color of the cable. This was one of the prototype cables (same material as launch) but it doesnt have the red coloring in it to make it look like the rest of our cables.
Another Note. Using the tristand was tough because the NoHub joints flexed quite a bit making it harder to push through. Still got it through pretty easy.
