13" Planer - Roller Problem

hi guys:

i remember reading a link on here about the rollers on the 13" planer... there was an issue they were breaking or pieces coming off.

anyone here heard of this?

I remember a while back there was a thread on this subject, but don't remember any details. I have not had any problems with mine in the 2 years that I have had it.

I recall that the early machines had different rollers than the newer ones and that you could get the new style ones free from Ridgid under the lifetime warranty.
