Have you ever been in a bar that had bar with baseball cards or newspaper clippings under a thick shelac or poly coating? I am wondering how to do
that for a project at home? do i just do a lot of coats? and what would be the best product to us?
Sorry for all the questions
Thanks

That's the stuff! It depends on how much you have to cover as to how much you get. You can't pour some then mix and pour some more, you pretty much have to do it all in one shot. You can pour one layer and let it sit, then pour a second and so on. You make a kind of dam around the project like you would for pouring concrete. Let it sit for a little longer than is recommended on the mix. And make sure you put some release agent on your forms. You can cover your forms with the smooth packing tape, but make sure there's no seams or anything.
You can also take pictures of the process and share them!! ;)
