Does anyone know how I can easily draw an Ellipse? Not an Oval but an Ellipse.
Thanks,

Lets see if I can tell you how.
Divide the height by 4 and the from center to end divide that by 4

* (not to scale)This star is suppose to be equal to the height
Draw lines from the plus sign to each vertical dot
From the bottom star use a straight edge and line it up with the first dot.Where it intercepts the top line put a mark, from the star do this again with the next dot to the next line on top...these are your points.
I used a thin piece of wood to connect my points.
Tell you what I'll pm you my cell #
BTW...this was the first time I had to do it,confusing at first but simple to learn.
In that pic I had 4 arches that all met on the corners and had to be square with each other...didn't help any that this was the main door with all the trade's coming in and out.
