Gradual Pushrod

How about making your camera pushrods gradually thicker as the distance increases to improve the ability to push longer distances.

Possible? Thinking....:rolleyes:

not that i know anything about cameras or pushrods:rolleyes:

the cost of tooling the pushrod would be very spendy.

plus with a thicker end , you stand the chance of destroying the front end as you have more strength in the rear and less in the front:eek:

it's friction that's the issue. create a super lube or super slick outer cover to make it push further.

the new micro drain is a very slick cover.

it's more the inner core that gives the strength not the outer cover.
