Recommendations on HVAC Calculator Software

Anyone have recommendations on HVAC calculator software?

Here's one I found so far. I searched the forums but did not find anything.

If its load and gain calcs go to www.taco-hvac.com they have a free program that works super.

Thanks, I'll take a look at their site.

I might even have that on my old computer,
I know I was on their site some time back
and still get emails monthly from them.

Looking to do loss/gain for heating and AC.
Want something that will allow you to specify
wall and roof construction, insulation types,
R-value, etc.

I think the EPA had something too come to think
of it. I will have to see if I still have the link to
their software.

Not cheap but worth every penny. I've had their stuff for 10 years and I could not survive in business without it.

Nice modular software package. Get what you need and add on later. As you said not cheap but looks like a time saver which means saving money in the long run.

Is this residential or commercial? I have a homemade j manual with excel that also does d man. It doesn't work too well with commercial though.

Great so far but starting a new business all over again sucks. I'm thinking of dropping the hvac side as I don't think it's worth doing here. My house like many others don't have ac.
