Laser for old 12" SCMS?

I bought the 12" SCMC (old version) on clearance and I would love to add the laser from the new model to it.

Does anyone know if this is possible and have any idea on a price of the laser?

The new RIDGID laser can't be added to the old miter saws but other after market lasers probably can be. There's one that sells for about $80 but for the life of me I can't think of the name right now.
