Does anyone know of a good dependable source for older model reconditioned Stanley planes? I'm looking for a 4 1/2 and a jointer plane

Ebay might be a possibility if you're a gambling type of guy.

post that same question here Woodnet Handtools Forum (http://www.forums.woodnet.net/ubbthreads/postlist.php?Cat=&Board=handtools)
And you will hear from a few guys that may have one for sale fully restored and tuned. A few names are Rarebear His Site (http://www.rexmill.com/) , Walter, Frigator, Cain, and more.

There is a guy known as "rarebear" on the Woodnet Hand Tools Forum who is highly regarded for his reconditioned planes. Definately worth checking out.
