he is lucky he didn't loose his grip and with his foot in a ring he could have smacked his head on the ground or rip his leg off :nono:

reminds me of the time i watched the tower crane operator and another person a couple hundred feet in the air, standing at the end of the boom and were going in circles with the boom.

i guess it's a cheap way to see the city:speechless:

I recently saw something very similar on one of the Dumbest things ever caught on tape reality shows...it turned out bad with the guy swinging on the end of the line slamming into the cab of the excavator...not a pretty site.

I am sure we all have at least once. The hard part is to see that it WAS a stupid thing to do and not do it again.

Judging from the comments here most have "seen the light". But to be truly "Born Again" to safety you need to politely prod those who don't know or can't see right from wrong into working safer....for themselves, their families, and for you.

Look at it this way: How would you feel if someone working for you was injured or killed by an employee of another contractor doing something down right stupid and you knew about it and did not try to stop it? If the victims lawyer ever found out your life would probably be over, even though you had no responsibility for the person acting in an unsafe manner. Why do you think every contractor on site the day of an accident gets dragged into the lawsuit? Because they all have a responsibility to provide a safe workplace for their employees.
