Hello Ridgid tool owners. I am leaning towards purchasing a TS3650, but I have some reservations about a few things. First, is customer service really that bad? I have scoured woodworking forums around the net and have read many good and many bad things about the Delta and Jet CS as well. How does Ridgid's CS stack up? Second, I have read a few posts here about excessive blade arbor runout on the ts3650. Is this a quality control problem or the exception to the rule? Third, how well does the 13 amp motor prform? Does it get bogged down easily or run like a champ? I am also considering the Delta 36-444 and the JET JWTS-10JF, but I am having a hard time deciding which one. I guess I am looking for reassurance that Ridgid isn't the "Craftsman" of Home Depot. Any thoughts about these issues?

I'm also planning to purchase a TS3650 and have found this forum very helpful in arriving at that decision. In response to your questions:
-Hate to say it, but Ridgid IS essentially the "Craftsman" of Home Depot. That's not to say that they aren't good tools, but they have essentially the same relationship.
-Don't know about CS
-Purchase a decent quality dial indicator for use in setting up the saw and all of your woodworking tools. If the tool isn't within reasonable specs on the arbor or any other measurement, deal with it immmediately and not 2 years from now when you get tired of burn marks on wood.
-From what I understand, the motor will do fine in most conditions and struggle a little bit when ripping hard woods. I plan to get a thin kerf, rip blade (fewer teeth), which should reduce stress on the motor in that case.
I'm leaning towards the Ridgid vs Delta and Jet because of saw features- namely the sweet mobile base and the blade shroud dust collection which permits use of a shop vac on the saw for thorough dust removal.
Hope this helps and good luck!
