I heard "they" found a couple of unknown natural gas reserves that will supple the states with enough for the next 100 years. In turn the prices will be lower thatn ever this winter. Anyone else heard this?

I read that too

"They" are in no hurry to tap those resources

It would drive the price too low but it does open the US up to another domestic energy source other than coal and nuclear

In north eastern PA and up state NY there is a special type of shale rock formation that if drilled and fractured properly brings about some darn good natural gas wells with high outputs. In addition on the tops of mountains they are installing huge windmill style electric generators. General Electric is helping to make them so we have USA working to help the USA people for a change.

In addition many landfill dumps are producers of flammable gasses and can be put to use. There is sewer gas as well and some sewage treatment plants have special boilers that burn it and make steam for heating.
