Joing boards togethir

I am making a night side table where I have to biscuit join some boards together. Do I join them first and them put them through the planer, or put them through the planer and then join them.

As long as the final width will fit the planer I would do it last so that it's perfectly flat. Your biscuit jointer should be accurate enough, though. Also, remember to leave the boards a little long in case you get snip from the planer.
