I purchased the drill about a two years ago. since then the Varible speed has stopped working.

First time it was repaired under warranty, that lasted about 6 months then it went again, this time the warranty had run out. Two months ago this happened again, I put it away for the time being,it's costing more to repair than it's worth. Has anyone had the same problems or did I just end uip with a lemon.

How is it that a tool that is still in warranty be costing you money to repair?

You might be right, for some reason I thought the warranty period was only one year, I'll bring it back to Home Depot.

Thanks

Bearpaw,

Did you ever register your hammerdrill? If so, you should have the "limited lifetime service agreement". That should take the edge off any repairs, now and well into the future.
