sears 1977 flex drive tablesaw

A friend of mine owns this saw and he is wondering if the AC 1036 reto fit rip fence will work on his saw? smile.gif

I recently asked the same question about a Sears saw bought in 1980. Jake told me if it had a 27" deep top with belt drive it would work. Ordered one on the 20th or 21st and await it's arrival. Let you know if it fits out of the box or needs tweaking.

The Craftsman flex drive table saw has a 27" cast iron table, but the guard is too close to the back edge of the table to allow the rear rail to slide under it. I cannot recommend using the AC1036 on that saw, but to use it you would have to split the rear rail to fit around the guard.
