I was cleaning my original Ridgid blade that came on my TS3612 with oven cleaner, and I left it on over night. Now the coating (paint?) has come off. Did I screw up my blade? Can I just paint it with a good paint or pitch it. I've bought other blades but I use the original Ridgid for most of my non-critical work and it's great.
Thanks,
Gene

Should be fine without the paint, I have worn off most of the paint on my blades. I find an occasional coat of Drycoat works well for reducing friction.
