I just saw at Home Depot in the accessory book, the Ridgid zero clearence insert. Part number AC1035. I looked for it on ridgidparts.com and cannot find it anywhere. Is it available and if so how much are they, and how do I order them direct?

I just saw my first 3612 at HD, they assembled it yesterday. With it of course was the Zero Clearance Insert.

Injection Molded Plastic.

My suggested retail price..... $7.95 -> $9.95 tops

By the way what is the street price on one of these????

I checked tonight (Monday, Sept 16) around 8pm and AC1035 is now on-line at Ridgid Parts (http://buy.ridgidparts.com/cgi-bin/partCart?sid=0&add=AC1035) for $12.97

Just to make sure...this zero clearance works in my TS2400?

Also, is there somewhere in St. Louis I can purchase this or do I have to order it online?

Just got mine in. Of course I was ready to try it out. When I put it in I couldn't get it to adjust flat (On my TS2424). It still does not clear the lowered blade, so I had to loosen the hold down screw (still left it partially screwed in) and lift up the insert about 1/8", start the saw and then push down the insert. I did this using the handle of a pair of pliers (smart??? I don't know but my fingers were nowhere near the blade smile.gif ). After the initial clearance cut, I shut down the saw and tighted the hold down screw, slid the fence over the top right side of the insert and then stared the saw again. Raised the blade up to some interesting plastic on metal squealing sounds and plastic chips flying everywhere but goterdun. I was then able to level the insert.

So far I like it alot.

My suggestion is don't mess with the leveling screws until you bring the blade through the first time. It seemed like they were right on out of the bag.
