My wife got me A Ridgid DP15000 for Christmas. What a grest drill press. I really like the fact that you can not forget to remove the chuck key. I was wondering if any of you remember seeing plans to build a drill press table. I think I saw one a few a while back that had an adjustable fence that was set by turning threaded rods. I take any and all help with this one.
I hope everyone out there had a wonderful Christmas and I would like to wish everyone the very best for the new year.
One more thing, I would loke to ask those of you who belive in the Power of Prayer ( I do) to please pray for my Wife. She will be having surgery on Jan. 2nd 2001 to have her left kidney removed to do cancer. Thank You
Dan

Hello danomal,
sorry to hear that about your wife. I hope that all goes well. I bought a DP1500 2 weeks ago and I found plans for a pretty good (I hope) drill press table from http://woodstore.woodmall.com/driltab.html. I downloaded it in a .pdf file for $5.95.

Daniel, Shop Notes had, what in my opinion, was one of the neatest DP table designs. I finally found the issue, Vol. 10, Issue 57.
This came out in June of 2001. Check out the Shop Notes website.
Hope all goes well with your wife.

Well, I didn't use those plans after all. I built a larger version of the Incra DP table that I saw at Woodcraft.

Dan hope your wife's surgery went well. I received a new catolog last week and it had a pretty nice looking table for $115.00, before you say you can build one for less, which you probably could check this one out, it's pretty well thought out. The web site is www.hartvilletool.com (http://www.hartvilletool.com) The item number is 46513. They have a bigger one item 46515 for $129.00. Very nice catolog lots of nice tools and the prices are not bad.
