feeder rollers on Ridgid Planer

the feeder rollers on my brand new Ridgid Planer suddenly stopped working. Any suggestions on how to get them to work again? I am trying to avoid bringing the machine back to Home Depot.

I'd be willing to bet that one of the sprockets has failed. Remove the cap on the left side and let the side panel fall free. You should be able see the sprockets. If one is broken then call the 800-4RIDGID number for a new one.
