Hi,

I put together my saw and have found that at blade angles nearing 45 degrees, the motor belt rubs slightly against the frame below it. When the blade angle is at 0 degrees, the belt has about 1 1/4 inches of clearance and this slowly disappears as the motor rotates around.

Is anyone else getting this or am I just an assembly doofus?

Thanks,
Dave

First thing to check is how the pulleys are located on the moter and arbor shafts. They should be aligned with eachother and, if you have any space on the arbor or motor shafts to move the pulleys, this could solve the problem.

If not, go over the motor bracket assembly process again. Hope this helps.
