I got tired sending to Nome Alaska and other such distant places to find zero clearance insert that really wasn't made to fit the Ridgid 2424 table saw. So, I came up with a solution that saves a lot of money and will allow quick customization of inserts to suit different width sawblades.
The idea is in the prototype stage. It works great at this point. It requires a router and knowledge of it's use.
Actually, a template is not really needed as this "plug" can be made with a router table fairly quickly. The template makes the process faster though. Here's the site: http://u2.netgate.net/~robdp/insert/plug.html
